The year 2016 marks 20 successful years of development consulting for us. To celebrate this occasion, we are now called Revelle Group (formerly EIR Global). Revelle stems from the verb “to revel” and by that we mean to celebrate, enjoy, take pride and pleasure in what we do.
Our new name also signifies a turning point in the services we offer and geographical regions that we cater. “It is more than a name change – it is also a shift in our client focus. The time has come to actively engage the private sector in addressing global energy and climate change challenges. Facilitating these public-private links represents our new focus,” says Managing Director, Emily Koulouvaris.
Building on our 20 years of experience in development consulting work in the energy sector, we will help private sector clients entering or expanding into developing and emerging markets in the energy sector. Our new offering “Energy Business Services” will provide consulting services to the private sector in energy market research, energy regulatory affairs and energy investments.
We have also opened new geographical representations. Our new representative in Kyiv serves as the coordination point for our traditional stronghold markets in Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia. Our representative in Singapore is spearheading our market entry into South and South East Asia and the surrounding Pacific region.
The year 2020 is a milestone year in the area of sustainable energy and climate change - both on the European and global level – with the EU aiming to meet its climate and energy targets, SE4All meeting targets in energy access, and the Paris Agreement of COP21 coming into force. With less than four years to go to 2020, Revelle Group is dynamically forging ahead to become a “policy-private sector facilitator” to help address and surpass global challenges in energy and climate change.
