The overall objective of the assignment was to engage Ministry of Industry and New Technologies (MINT), KOREM the Kazakh wholesale electricity market operator and the Central Dispatch Centre Energia (CDC Enegia) in a dialogue for the future development in the electricity market of Kazakhstan and the positive impact this may have for Central Asia. It further aims to provide the necessary knowledge base and lessons learnt from the early stages of developing the European Internal Electricity Market (EU-IEM)
