The aim of the public awareness campaign was to raise awareness of consumers and retailers on the new EU Directive on Consumer Rights. The new Directive strengthens the rights of consumers, including better protection for on-line and cross-border shopping. The new Directive also facilitates retailers operations in the EU market and brings common rules for businesses to make it easier for them to trade all over Europe. EIR Global was responsible for the media activities and in supporting stakeholder engagement through the provision of campaign material and advice on how to promote the campaign to their networks.
