Assisting Georgia in creating an information centre for effective awareness raising on sustainable energy

The INOGATE Programme prepared a comprehensive concept, strategy and action plan for the Sustainable Energy Information Centre (SEIC) in the City of Tbilisi outlining the main directions and priorities for its short- to mid-term operation and development. On its side, the City of Tbilisi identified the space to accommodate the demonstration area of the centre. The main objective of this assignment was to assist the City of Tbilisi in implemtning the action plan for the SEIC, to provide basic training to the Center’s staff and to co-operate with the Centre in organisation and implementation of awareness raising activities. More specifically, this involved:
1) Provided assistance in develoing a concept, strategy and action plan for the establishment of the Centre.
2) Co-operated with the Centre in organising and implementing awareness raising activities;
3) Assisted in developing and providing information materials and exhibits for the demonstration area of the Centre
4) Provided basic training for the Centre’s personnel on awareness raising activities

5) Assisted in the design and development of the demonstration area of the centre;
