Launch of the REN21 UNECE Renewable Energy Status Report
EIR Global is proud to have worked with the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and the Renewable energy Policy Network for the 21st century (REN21) on a regional report to highlight the developments in sustainable energy in the region. This project mobilized almost 20 of EIR Global collaborators in the region along with wide range of stakeholders familiar with renewable energy and energy efficiency developments. The report covers industry, market, policies and regulation and investment. It is a witness to the incredible potential of the region as well as the need for increasing investment flows to achieve full valorization of its sustainable energy resources.
The report draws on information from national and regional sources to present the most up-to-date summary of sustainable energy in: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Montenegro, Russian Federation, Serbia, Tajikistan, The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
