Revelle Group is looking for a Team Leader / Energy sector expert for the EU-funded project "Support to modernisation of the Energy Sector in the Republic of Moldova"
Background information
The overall objectives of the project are to: i) support the Republic of Moldova in the reform of its Energy sector with a view to ensure higher efficiency and higher Energy security; and ii) support the implementation of the commitments the Republic of Moldova undertook as a Contracting Party to the Energy Community and in the framework of the EU-MD Association Agreement
Qualifications and skills
- University degree (of a minimum of four (4) years study in a university) in economics or engineering, or public administration, or law. In the absence of the required academic degree, six (6) years of professional experience on top of the 12 years of professional experience in the Energy sector described under General professional experience below.
- Excellent written and spoken English required
- Command of Romanian or Russian will be an asset
General professional experience
- Minimum 12 years of professional experience in the Energy sector
- At least 10 years of professional experience working with central state bodies and/or State Energy companies, and dealing with reform of the energy sector
Specific professional experience
- At least 5 years working experience in the Energy sector in ENI countries or IPA countries or countries which are currently EU Member States.
- At least 5 years of experience in implementation of reforms in line with EU Energy Acquis
- Proven experience as a team leader in at least one EU-funded or international donor-funded project in the area of reform of the Energy sector and involving at least 12 months of team-leader input
