Revelle Group is shortlisted and preparing a tender for the project Reinforced implementation of visibility and communication activities of the IPA programm’. We are currently looking for an expert for the position of Team Leader / Communication Expert.

The project aims to increase the level of public awareness about the EU financial support to Serbia and the EU integration process in general.  The project will include various information and communication activities using a variety of tools with the aim of building public awareness on the EU as the biggest donor in Serbia and by this contributing to the increased public support for the accession process based on well-informed and realistic expectations.

Main Tasks

The Team Leader / Communication Expert will be responsible for the conceptualization, planning and implementation of all communication, visibility and information deliverables as well as the full quality control envisaged under this project.

The Team Leader is to create and ensure team work and synergies between all activities of the project stakeholders and ensure that they are part of an overall concerted programmatic approach.  S/he must have excellent knowledge of the Serbian media, government and public institutions, public relations market, as well as the civil society organisations in Serbia, a broad knowledge of EU and EU-Serbia relations and of the EU funded projects in Serbia.  The Team Leader will also be responsible for the administrative and financial aspects of the contract. S/he will provide guidance to all non-key experts in performance of their duties and have a decisive role in ensuring efficient use of human resources, smooth daily operation and crisis management.

Qualifications and skills
  • A university degree in journalism, political science, public relations, humanities, business administration, management or other relevant field.  A master’s degree or more is considered an asset.
General professional experience
  • At least 8 or preferably 10 years of professional experience in communication and public relations;
Specific professional experience
  • Team management in at least two, preferably three information, communication or public relations projects related to EU institutions or EU financial assistance in the last 5 years;
  • Experience of at least five years gained in EU Member States and/or current and/or previous accession countries with projects related to EU communications in the last 10 years;
  • Experience in directly working with EU financial assistance programmes in Serbia will be an advantage.
