Revelle Group has been shortlisted for the project: ‘11th EDF Energy Governance in West Africa – (AGoSE-AO) ECOWAS Region – Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Ghana, Nigeria’. The specific objective of this Technical Assistance is to provide support to the regional institutions (ECOWAS, WAEMU, ECREEE WAPP, ERERA) in line with their capacity building needs, in the implementation of activities related to the Energy Sector Governance in West Africa support programme (AgoSE-AO).
We are currently searching for candidates for the following key expert position in the project:
- Key Expert 4: Senior Expert in Energy Pool
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Must hold a Master’s Level Degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field, or at least a Master’s Degree in Energy, Economics, Law or any other relevant field;
- Good command of English and French. Knowledge of Portuguese would be an advantage;
- Good command of information technology and communication tools.
GENERAL PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Have at least 10 years’ professional experience in energy/electricity sector regulation in positions of responsibility
SPECIFIC PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Have a good knowledge of the issues and problems facing the energy sector in the ECOWAS region;
- Have skills in electricity system planning, preparation of energy infrastructure projects, rules for the interconnection of electricity networks and establishment of information and control centre;
- Have at least one previous experience in similar tasks.
The Duration of the assignment is 4 years estimated at 44 man-months.
