An integrated assessment of the European environment
The European environment — state and outlook 2015 (SOER 2015), published by the European Environment Agency (EEA) provides a comprehensive assessment of the European environment’s state, trends and prospects, and places it in a global context. It informs European environmental policy implementation between 2015 and 2020, and analyses the opportunities to modify existing policies (and the knowledge used to inform those policies) in order to achieve the European Union's 2050 vision of living well within the limits of the planet.
The five-year SOER report is a flagship publication for the EEA, with the last edition published in 2010. EIR Global contributed to the graphic design of the SOER 2015, including the Global Megatrends report and the design of the electronic publications for the global, European, regional and country-level briefings. Our graphic design work also included the design of the on-line presence of the SOER 2015 on the website of the EEA and the design of the SOER 2015 presentation, a high-end and visual Power Point presentation of the main findings of the report with systematics links to the slides of the different components of SOER 2015.
